Mechanical farming introduced at Bhutto Estate; Business trips to start.

NAUNDERO -- Mechanical farming was introduced at Bhutto Estate where Chinese experts introduced agro technology and planted hybrid seed over 645 acres with the help of machines installed on tractor.

The land was at the very outset properly leveled with tractors and three inches water was maintained in the entire land. As many as 47500 lines were planted in a half acres land which is claimed to be more than previous old method of sowing paddy saplings which will ultimately produce more rice.

The experts of the private company brought at the Bhutto Estate claimed that this type of agro technology will reduce water and seed consumption along with fertilizer quantity. The CEO of the company Shahid told newsmen that purification of seeds is also very essential adding hybrid cannot be planted again because it will not give any yield. He said seed needs 14 degrees centigrade heat and traders are not following the rules due to which farmers suffer losses. He said there is acute need of cold storage which is unavailable here, adding we are establishing Cool Center in Shikarpur for this purpose. He claimed that with the arrival of hybrid four million tons production has been increased.
