MDA to auction land earlier meant for disposal station.

MULTAN -- The Multan Development Authority (MDA) will auction a plot on Friday earlier meant for a disposal station.

The MDA governing body has approved the auction of the 1.99 kanals located on Northern Bypass in Model Town Housing Scheme. Wasa has changed the services design and the site is no more required to it, says the MDA.

'In this way the land reserved for the disposal station is vacant for further disposal. In order to utilize the site in a purposeful manner, it is proposed to take back the land from Wasa and for the profitable utilization of the land/plot in the larger interest of MDA,' it stated.

MDA authorities got published the advertisement in various newspapers for the auction.
