Maulana Fazl should retreat from demand of PM Imran Khan's resignation: Dr. Firdous.

ISLAMABAD -- Special Assistant to PM on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has reaffirmed the government's commitment to resolve all the issues with the JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman through dialogue. She said Maulana Fazlur Rehman is a senior politician and expressed the hope that he will not tread the path which oust him from the political ground. She said that we are political people and finding solution of every problem through dialogues is our responsibility. She said that Maulana Fazl should retreat from the demand of Prime Minister Imran Khan's resignation.

Talking to the media persons in Islamabad on Tuesday, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the court has not rejected her unconditional apology but has summoned detailed written replies of several questions on next hearing. She said that this is sub-judice issue and she did not want to discus it.

Replying a question, she said that the matter of extension in tenure of Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa was windup in August and notification is issued with the completion of the process. She said that after completion of process the notification has been issued and there is no purpose of holding fresh debate in media on this matter.

Replying a question, she said that PTI is my strength and every worker sitting in PTI is support of Imran Khan and whosoever is standing behind Imran Khan is also standing with Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan.

She said that the hard hitting of Maulana Fazl is continued but the government did not want to respond Maulana through hard hitting, adding that instead of hitting six on every ball there is need to play sensibly. She said that it is not proper time for Maulana Fazl to come in field while holding bat, adding that pitch is also not level and due to this there are more chances of out. She said that Maulana Fzal will make decision while seeing weather, circumstances, pitch and bowler and I am hopeful he will not be retired hurt.

She said that win and loss are part of the game, adding that Maulana should remain in the political field and should do such acts which could send him out of political field. She said that we are political people and finding solution of every problem through dialogues is our responsibility.
