Marriyum Aurangzeb Seeks Acquittal in Anti-State Speech Case.

LAHORE -- Former Information Minister, Marriyum Aurangzeb, filed a plea in an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday, seeking the dismissal of a case registered against her for delivering an anti-state speech. The PML-N leader appeared in front of Judge Abhar Gul Khan in the court.

In her application, the former minister argued that she had no involvement in the talk show and should not be held responsible for the comments made during the program. Marriyum requested that the court acquit her of the charges. The court adjourned the hearing until November 11.
