'March impacting Kashmir issue'.

LAHORE -- Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi regrets the Azadi March has shifted focus from the Kashmir issue (to the march) that was being highlighted at international level after strenuous efforts.

He told reporters at Governor House on Thursday that the government had signed an agreement with opposition parties' Rehbar Committee and would honour it. He said the government gave a free hand to Azadi March protesters to arrive in Islamabad whereas in 2014 his party workers were baton-charged, when they marched on Islamabad. He said political differences should be resolved through a dialogue.
