Man shoots mother-in-law, her son over family row.

LAHORE: A man allegedly shot dead his mother-in-law and her son after he failed to convince them for reconciliation with his wife in Kahna area here on Thursday.

The police said suspect Zafar Ali visited the residence of his in-laws to get his wife Farzana Bibi back.

She had moved to her parents around three months back following some domestic issues, a police official said adding that during the visit he asked his in-laws for reconciliation.

He said Farzana's mother Jamila entered into an argument about physically torturing her daughter and asked him to revisit with his elders for reconciliation.

The police official said Zafar, who was already armed with a pistol, got furious and shot at her twice.

When his brother-in-law stepped up to protect his mother, the suspect also opened fire on him and fled the scene. The woman died instantly while her son breathed...
