Man killed in road accident.

ISLAMABAD -- A man was killed and another injured in a road accident, while culprits looted cash and valuables from five different places, police said on Friday.

Two persons were travelling on a motorcycle and when reached Faisal Avenue a car hit them, they said adding that as a result both suffered injuries.

Later the injured were taken to the hospital where one of them, Mohammad Nadeem, was pronounced dead while the injured, Ghour Rehman, was given medical assistance.

The police arrested the car driver and registered a case against him, they added.

Meanwhile, robbers looted cash and valuables worth Rs410,000 from a shop at Tarlai Kalan, the police said, adding that three armed men entered the shop of Maqsood Ahmed and held him at gunpoint. They looted the cash and four mobiles and escaped...
