Man injured as bomb goes off in imambargah.

PARACHINAR -- A man was injured when explosives planted inside an imambargah went off in Lower Kurram in the small hours of Tuesday, police said.

The injured man, who worked as caretaker of the Imambargah, was shifted to a local hospital. The building was badly damaged in the explosion.

Kurram district police officer Mohammad Quresh Khan said that the police reached the Shorki village of Lower Kurram soon after the blast and cordoned off the area. He said that the bomb disposal squad personnel combed the building and surrounding areas to search for more...
