SAHIWAL -- Police arrested a fake Pir (faith healer) on Sunday for defrauding people by claiming he could heal Covid-19 patients with a taweez (amulet).
According to Kasowal police, the suspect Iqbal Sahu, a resident of Iqbal Nagar, announced that he would distribute the 'corona taweez' among his devotees at an event to be held at Madina Chowk on Sunday that would not only cure the infected patients, but also protect healthy people...
