Man held for 'blasphemy'.

RAHIM YAR KHAN -- The police on Friday arrested a suspect on blasphemy charge in Lunda Bazaar near Chowk Pathanistan.

The suspect, of Kandh Kot, was running a business of packaging with his brothers in Lunda Bazaar and lived in a rented flat in the same area.

On Friday, after Juma prayers, he was spotted by some people burning the pages of the holy Quran in the bazaar. When challenged, he locked himself inside the flat.

Soon, the police, led by City DSP circle Javed Akhtar Jatoi, arrived at the scene, condoned off the area and arrested the suspect.
