Man acquitted in bomb blast case.

MULTAN -- An anti-terrorism court on Wednesday acquitted a man in a case of killing 39 people in a bomb blast some 16 years back.

According to the FIR lodged with Lohari Gate, Muhammad Ali, alias Asif, was involved in a bomb blast which took place in a public gathering of Maulana Azam Tariq in Rashidabad in 2004 in which 39 people died and 96 were injured.

The anti-terrorism court No 2 judge directed the police to release Muhammad Ali declaring him innocent.
