Mahmood, FC chief discuss security situation.

PESHAWAR -- The newly-posted Inspector General of Frontier Corps (North) Maj-Gen Adil Yamin called on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan here on Friday.

They discussed matters related to the overall security situation in the province with special focus on the merged areas, according to a statement.

The chief minister lauded the role of Frontier Corps in restoring durable peace in the merged districts and said that the security forces, including the Frontier Corps, had rendered unprecedented sacrifices in the war against terrorism which the entire nation felt proud of.
