LUMS, forest dept sign MoU to improve environment.

LAHORE -- A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Punjab forest department and a private university, under which the both will work together to improve environment with the help of digital techniques in the province.

Forests department Secretary Shahid Zaman, dean of the university and heads of departments were present on the occasion.

Under the MoU, LUMS will provide its support to the forests department in the management of forest assets. The knowledge management map of the province's forests will also be created, while both institutions will cooperate with each other to carry out research on relevant topics.
