LHC extends Hamza Shahbaz's pre-arrest bail till April 25.

LAHORE -- Two-member bench of the Lahore High Court headed by Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmed Khan and comprising Justice Mirza Waqas Rauf has extended the pre-arrest bail of Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly Muhammad Hamza Shahbaz Sharif in Ramzan Sugar Mills case, Saaf Pani case and assets beyond means of income case till 25th April.

The court has also issued notices to DG NAB Lahore and director NAB Lahore on the contempt of court petition filed by Hamza Shahbaz Sharif. Hamza Shahbaz had filed contempt of court plea against DG NAB Lahore and Director NAB Lahore for carrying out raids for his arrest at his residence instead of presence of clear orders of Lahore High Court. The court has sought explanation from DG NAB Lahore and Director NAB Lahore on 25th April.

Hamza Shahbaz appeared before the court on Wednesday after expiry of the pre-arrest bail.
