Lakki elders assured of early arrest of man's killers.

LAKKI MARWAT -- District police officer Tariq Habib has said that a special team has been tasked to trace the killers of an elderly man without delay.

The assurance was given to a delegation of elders belonging to Masha Mansoor, Umar Adda and Tittterkhel areas here on Tuesday. The elders met the district police chief to get themselves updated about the pace of investigation into the murder of Mohibullah.

They told Mr Habib that unknown motorcyclists had shot dead Mohibullah in Masha Mansoor area last week. They said the murder had sparked a protest in the rural locality.

Mr Habib briefed the elders about the investigation into the murder and told them that investigators were using all available resources to reach the killers.

'We are using modern technology and human intelligence to find a clue about the murderers and ensure their arrest without delay,' he reiterated.
