Ladakh and India.

THE removal of Article 370 annexing Kashmir was cheered by Narendra Modi's supporters, but the loud cheering fell silent when an unexpected development took place in Ladakh.

The Chinese moved swiftly with their military, brushing aside any pretense at diplomatic niceties and expanded their presence in the territories they have claim on. There is very little local population in Ladakh, and the Chinese claim and presence are more than enough to guarantee their control. Indian generals will now have a hard time responding to the Chinese presence. The Indian bombast has been exposed.

Interestingly, Nepal's parliament has passed a resolution rejecting the Indian claim on its territory. These maps have been redrawn and are now the official map of Nepal. The Nepalese government will now establish its writ over these areas and if there is any resistance it has already stated it will send its military to the disputed territory.
