Labourer buried alive in Hassanabdal.

TAXILA -- A labourer was buried alive under mud in Islampura area located in the limits of Hassanabdal police on Monday.

Police and hospital sources said 40-year-old Shahzad Khan was digging a maund of mud at a brick kiln when it caved on him.

Other workers later retrieved and shifted the injured to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, a motorcyclist was hit and killed by a speeding dumper on GT Road near Hattain bridge in Hazro.

The deceased was identified as Islam Gul, a sand-mine worker...
