Kumrat snow and cultural festival opens on 14th.

UPPER DIR -- A two-day Kumrat snow and cultural festival will be held on March 14 and 15 in scenic Kumrat valley of Upper Dir with the collaboration of Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP).

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf local leader Anwar Ali from Biyar has been nominated as focal person for the festival. He has played a key role in convincing TCKP managing director Junaid Khan on organising the festival in the valley to promote winter tourism in Kumrat.

The corporation had given him and the district administration a special task of making arrangements for the festival.

He and the administration officials visited the Kumrat valley about two weeks ago and then submitted a report to Junaid Khan about organising the festival. The TCKP has now decided to organise the festival on March 14 and 15.
