Kulbhushan refuses to file review plea against his sentence: AAG.

ISLAMABAD -- Additional Attorney General (AAG) Ahmad Irfan has said Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav has refused to file review petition against his sentence.

Pakistan is fully alive to its international responsibilities and is ready to implement International Court of Justice (ICJ) decision, he observed.

He said this while addressing a press conference along with Director General South Asia, SAARC Zahid Hafiz here Wednesday.

He held that Pakistan had won the case in international court of justice. This was among the key points of this decision that Kulbhushan be informed about his rights under section 36 of Viana Convention for counselor contacts.

He stated that it was also part of the decision that Indian counsel officers be allowed to talk to Kulbhushan besides providing them counselor access so that they could meet him and arrange legal representation for him.

It was further said in the decision all the steps be taken for effective review in Kulbhushan case. If need be necessary...
