KU, FBATI sign MoU to curb environmental pollution.

KARACHI -- The University of Karachi (KU) and Federal B Area Association of Trade and Industry (FBATI) on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to curb environmental pollution. They have also agreed upon to establish the scientific and technical collaboration between them, said a statement. The Federal B Area Trade Estate, Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Babar Khan and KU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Ajmal Khan signed the MoU at the Vice Chancellor Secretariat.

The objective of the MoU was to further develop and carry out collaboration between the two considering the common interest of both the parties in promoting mutual collaboration in academic and scientific research activities. They have intended to develop collaborative research and training activities in areas of importance and need on mutual basis benefiting the two institutions.

This will not only help achieve overall objectives and enable to meet challenges in the new millennium, but also strengthen the research facilities, produce trained human resources and share resources to obtain maximum...
