PESHAWAR -- The Board of Governors of Khyber Teaching Hospital has rejected the recommendation of health department to terminate the services of high-ranking officials, arguing that all recruitments have been made in accordance with law.

The health secretary moved a summary to BoG KTH on November 22 to terminate the services of nursing director in compliance with findings of inquiries conducted in September 2018 on the directives of Supreme Court of Pakistan.

The BoG of KTH had then replied that all the appointments were made in transparent manners on the court's directives and nomination of its members and status of the employees were legally correct because relevant laws, rules and regulations were followed.
