KS and EW to produce indigenous platforms for Pak Navy.

ISLAMABAD -- The Karachi Shipyard and EngiAneering Works (KS and EW) will produce Gun Boat possessing stealth features, armour protecAtion and capable of achieving high speed for Pakistan Navy, according to the officials.

The contract-signing cereAmony of indigenously designed Gun Boat and Tugs was held at Ministry of Defence ProAduction. The Managing DirecAtor Karachi Shipyard and EngiAneering Works (KS and EW), Rear Admiral Ather Saleem and DiArector General Munitions ProAduction, Air Vice Marshal MuAhammad Qaiser Janjua signed the contract. Maj Gen Akif Iqbal, Additional Secretary Defence Production and Rear Admiral Ovais Ahmed BilgraAmi, Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) were also present on the occasion.
