KP cabinet approves establishment of child protection courts.

PESHAWAR -- The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet has approved establishment of child protection courts on divisional level. KP Information Minister Shaukat Yousafzai said while addressing a press conference in Peshawar on Tuesday that approval has also been given for appointment of judges for the child protection courts. The minister hoped that the establishment of special courts will help in reduction of incidents of violence against children. The minister said the cabinet also approved regularization of 9,618 personnel of Special Police Force. He said the judicial lock-up in Malakand has been declared a sub-jail.
