Pakistan's Test batsman Asad Shafiq believes that using Kookaburra ball in domestic cricket will help national team players compete strongly in the upcoming International Cricket Council (ICC) Test Championship fixture against Australia.

It was a good step by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to introduce Kookaburra ball in domestic cricket. Players got aware of Kookaburra which will surely help them compete strongly when the national team tours Australia next month to play a Test series,' Shafiq highlighted while talking to the media at UBL Sports Complex (UBL).

The right-handed middle-order batsman, who is leading Sindh in the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy season 2019-20, is confident to win the match this time around as the first-class tournament is all set to enter fourth round from October 5.
