IMRAN Khan's decision not to attend the Kuala Lumpur summit despite accepting the invitation earlier is a disgrace for the nation. This reflects two things.

First, it was our weakness as a nation. We, as a nation, are controlled by external forces. In order to overcome our economic crisis, we lost our dignity and self-respect.

Second, the casualty was loss of our foreign policy prerogative and independence. We had only Turkey and Malaysia in the Muslim ummah as supporters on international forums on Kashmir and other vital issues.
