Khuhro wants Imran to explain U-turn on Malaysian summit.

SUKKUR -- Pakistan Peoples Party Sindh president Nisar Ahmed Khuhro said on Sunday that all people should ask the prime minister collectively to tell nation why he did not go to Malaysia and made another U-turn on the summit of brotherly countries in Kuala Lumpur.

Talking to media persons after chairing a meeting of party leaders of Sukkur, Larkana and Benazirabad divisions here at Shah House, Khuhro said that Imran Khan might so far have made 150 U-turns on different local and international issues.

He said that he was surprised to learn that the verdict against retired Gen Musharraf did not give due importance to constitution. The part of the verdict calling for hanging the convict at D-Chowk was not part of the decision but was merely a remark, he said.

He said that when Gen Musharraf had imposed emergency in 2007 Imran Khan had at that time declared him a traitor. No true democrat could utter words like those of Gen Zia who had said that the constitution was just a booklet that should be kept wrapped up in an almirah, he said.

Khuhro said the issue of extension of service to Chief of Army Chief had not been brought so far before the parliament as the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government had no ability to raise it in the elected house.

He criticised federal ministers and said they were so arrogant they often misbehaved with anyone who raised questions before them about their performance. Everybody knew about the kind...
