Ketchup making unit dismantled.

LAHORE -- The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has dismantled a ketchup production unit and stopped production of two food points on account of adulteration and substandard operations.

The action was taken by a team during operation carried out under the supervision of PFA Director General Irfan Memon.

The provincial food regulator also lodged an FIR against the ketchup production unit after dismantling the machinery.

Further, PFA has discarded 1,300kg substandard ketchup, 400kg pulp, 400kg starch and a huge quantity of loose colours and chemicals.
