Karachi races cancelled due to heavy rains.

KARACHI -- The Gymkhana race meeting scheduled at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday was cancelled few hours before its commencement as heavy rains lashed the city.

'The staff was present at the KRC monitoring the situation and was compelled to announce cancellation of the races,' a spokesman of the KRC told Dawn.
