Kamal urges city women to attend public meeting on March 1.

KARACHI -- Pak Sarzameen Party chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal claimed on Wednesday that the women-only rally his party was going to organise on March 1 in Nazimabad would be a 'historic event'.

Speaking at a press conference held at Nazimabad's Al-Farooq Ground, the venue of the public meeting in district Central, he said his party wanted a peaceful and corruption-free Pakistan and by participating in large numbers women would extend their full support to the PSP against the rulers.

Taking credit for the peace in Karachi, he said that after the sacrifices of law enforcement agencies it was the PSP which made efforts for lasting peace in the city.

Accompanied by PSP president Anis Kaimkhani and women leadership, he said the people of Karachi had seen and tested every party and now the PSP was their only hope.

'I appeal to all women to spare just four hours on March 1 to come to Al-Farooq Ground and raise their voice against injustices,' he said. 'The women public meeting will be the biggest event of our recent political history.'

He said that only the PSP could address the grievances of the people and it would solve each and every problem if voted to power.
