JUP-N accuses Sindh govt of 'fanning sectarianism'.

HYDERABAD -- The Jamiat Ulema-i-Pakistan-Noorani (JUP-N) has accused Sindh government of conspiring to fan sectarian violence in the country and demanded immediate removal of the chief minister.

'The government must lift lockdown and permit congregations for Friday and Eid prayers with full freedom as people have now realised that the government is hatching a conspiracy to fan sectarian violence in the country,' said JUP-N president Dr Sahibzada Abul Khair Mohammad Zubair at a meeting of party leaders here on Monday.

He demanded the government allow people to say prayers at mosques, lift lockdown during Friday and Eid prayers, completely end lockdown, allow resumption of trade, conduct probe into rampant corruption in coronavirus fund,

restore public transport, provide healthcare facilities to patients and pay back to traders penalties imposed on them during lockdown.

He said the needy and the deserving people were experiencing tough time and were desperately looking for food while billions of rupees aid had fallen prey to mega corruption.

He said the government had miserably failed to cope with the pandemic while patients of other diseases were turned away from hospitals thanks to poor healthcare policy. The Sindh government...
