Judokas Secure Four Medals At Tbilisi Grand Prix 2016

Mongolian judokas have won two silver and two bronze medals at the Tbilisi Grand Prix 2016. The tournament took place in Tbilisi, Georgia from March 25 to 27.

A total of 393 judokas from 63 countries fought in the tournament, and Mongolia was represented by 10 judokas.

On the first day of the tournament, State Honored Athlete D.Amartuvshin and State Honored Athlete D.Boldbaatar fought in the men's 60 kg category. In the semi-final, D.Amartuvshin beat Bekir Ozlu of Turkey with an ippon score. Diyorbek Urozboev of Uzbekistan defeated D.Amartuvshin in the men's 60 kg final, and the Mongolian judoka settled for a silver medal.
