Judicial complex in Balakot demanded.

MANSEHRA -- Lawyers on Tuesday demanded the early construction of the judicial complex in Balakot tehsil here.

'It is unfortunate that the government isn't releasing funds approved for the judicial complex even after its groundbreaking. Courts and lawyers have long been working on makeshift premises,' tehsil bar council president Sardar Mohammad Ashfaq told reporters in Balakot.

Mr Ashfaq said that land for the judicial complex was acquired in 2016 after authorities decided to move courts and lawyer offices out of the Red Zone in Bisian.

He regretted the long delay in the release of funds after the groundbreaking of the judicial complex.

The council president also complained that authorities had yet to earmark land for lawyer offices and judges colony in Bisian area.
