JM notified to handle prisoners' death cases.

KHAIRPUR -- A judicial magistrate has been designated to provide legal assistance to the heirs of a prisoner who would die on the premises of the Khairpur district jail, said a notification issued here on Wednesday.

The prison administration has been bound to inform the magistrate about any prisoner's death in jail.

The notification has been issued by District and Sessions Judge of Khairpur Mushtaque Ahmed Leghari.
