JI Emir demands removal of Sheyryar Afridi.

LAHORE -- Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Sirajul Haq has demanded removal of Parliamentary Special Committee on Kashmir Chairman Shehryar Afridi for issuing a derogatory statement against Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Gilani.

'Syed Ali Gilani has the right to question the recent agreement between DGMOs of Pakistan and India. The Kashmir Committee chairman instead of answering the query released an insulting statement against the senior Kashmiri leader,' he said in a statement issued from Mansoora on Wednesday.

Sirajul Haq said the government statement was tantamount to damage the unity of Kashmiri leaders and Kashmir cause and called for the removal of Mr Afridi to decrease the intensity of loss.
