Japanese calendars exhibited at Alhamra.

LAHORE -- Japanese calendars exhibition, a regular feature of Lahore's cultural calendar, attracted a large number of visitors at the Alhamra Art Gallery, The Mall, despite rain and chilly weather on Thursday.

The event was organised by the Embassy of Japan in cooperation with the the Pakistan-Japan Cultural Association, Lahore and the Lahore Arts Council.

The exhibition was jointly inaugurated by Takahiro Tamura, Head of Public Affairs Section at the Embassy of Japan, along with Lahore Arts Council Executive Director Athar Ali Khan and other distinguished guests.

This year, around 100 calendars have been put on display with the cooperation of Japan Calendars Association and various Japanese companies.

Mr Tamura, speaking at the inaugural ceremony said the purpose of holding the event was to introduce various aspects of Japan to the people of Pakistan.
