It is strange ban has been imposed on a thing which is non-existing: IHC.

ISLAMABAD -- Chief Justice (CJ) Islamabad High Court (IHC) Athar Minallah has remarked apparently the notification regarding imposition of ban on Ansar ul Islam, a sub organization of JUI-F is in-fructuous.

Petition filed against imposition of ban on Ansar ul Islam came up for hearing before IHC Monday.

The court has summoned officer of interior ministry today.

The court maintained interior ministry slapped ban on Ansar ul Islam without haring JUI-F. Interior ministry should satisfy court how it imposed ban without hearing any one.

Kamran Murtaza counsel for JUI-F said JUI-F is registered with election commission as political party and Ansar ul Islam is not a private militia but it is a part of JUI-F. This organization is operating since Quaid-e-Azam time.

CJ Athar Minallah remarked if members of Ansar ul Islam are members of a political party then notification regarding imposition of ban on it is ineffective. It is not private militia but it is having sticks.

Counsel Kamran Murtaza said the sticks are tied with flags.
