PRIME Minister Imran Kan recently inaugurated Islamabad's Blue Area multi billion rupee commercial project. In this project there will be an auction for 26 commercial plots, including a plot for a five- star hotel.

The Capital Development Authority will conduct the proceedings next month, between April 14 and 16. The auction is expected to fetch around Rs30 billion.

This is all very well for the progress and growth of nation's capital, but I would like to inform the government and remind the CDA of their past promises where they auctioned thousands of residential plots, but did not hand over possession of the sold plots to the allottees.
