IPDS and Embassy of Kazakhstan Promote Cultural Understanding with Essay Competition.

The Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies (IPDS) in collaboration with the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Pakistan, recently hosted a competition for the best work dedicated to Kazakhstan among the students of Pakistan. The competition was a great success, and the students who participated showed a deep understanding of Kazakhstan and its culture. The winning entries were all well-written and informative, and they provided a valuable glimpse into the country for those who may not be familiar with it. The competition was open to all students of Pakistan who were between the ages of 16 and 22. The students were asked to submit an essay or a short story on a topic related to Kazakhstan. The essays and short stories were judged on the accuracy of information, clarity of writing, originality of thought, and overall impact.

The winners of the competition were: a Zulqanain Khan, a student of Bahria University, Islamabad. a Umm e Salma, student of the University of Sargodha. a Taj Mir Khan, student of the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar. In a ceremony held at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Islamabad on May 5, the winners of the competition were awarded prizes, including a certificate from the Kazakh airline "Scat" for the purchase of an air ticket on the route Lahore-Almaty-Lahore, valuable gifts, and certificates of recognition.
