Interior Minister briefs NCOC regarding Eid ul Azha management plan.

ISLAMABAD -- Interior Minister Brigadier (retd) Ijaz Ahmed Shah briefed National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) regarding Eid ul Azha management plan and associated hazards of Mandis/qurbani in public places/urban areas.

NCOC forum was briefed that plan for Qurbani on Eid Ul Azha in wake of Corona virus threat will be finalised after consensus of all stake holders particularly the religious leaders on following areas: - 1. Mechanism for animal sacrifices. 2. Concept of Ijtimai Qurbani / Online booking (on line of Hajj). 3. Central arrangements for distribution of meat through civil administration and local committees.4. Modalities will be finalized within next week thus complete month will be available to provinces for making necessary arrangements. 5. Medical SOPs regarding animal sacrifice on Eid-ul Azha will be formulated by Ministry of Health.
