Interactive Session at Embassy of the Philippines.

The Embassy of the Philippines to Pakistan hosted the participants of the International Young Diplomats School (IYDS) on the second day of the program. Charge D'affaires of Philip pines to Pakistan, Maria Agnes M. Cervantes welcomed the IYDS partici pants. The Deputy Head of the Mission of the Philippines to Pakistan, Dan Erwin C. Bagaporo enlightened the participants about Pakistan-Philippines relations as well as the history and geostrategic significance of her country. The Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies (IPDS) launched the IYDS as a ground-breaking program with the goal of highlighting the value of diplomacy in the rapidly evolving, globally connected world. During the lecture, he further highlight ed the diverse culture of the Philippines and shared that its people were known as 'people of laughs.' Likewise, the Deputy Head of the Mission shared the vision of his country till 2040. About the ties between the two countries, he shared that Pakistan and the Philip pines are members of WB, IMF, ADB, WTO, AIIB, ASEAN, as well as SEATO. 3000 Pinoy live in Pakistan while 1500-2000 Pakistanis live...
