'Important steps taken by PM to boost construction industry'.

RAWALPINDI -- Investors are returning from abroad and the government's policy regarding the construction sector will give a boost to the industry, said Kashmir Committee Chairman Shehryar Afridi on Sunday.

He was addressing the closing ceremony of the three-day Build 2021 exhibition of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI).

Talking to journalists on the occasion, Mr Afridi said: 'We will accept the decision of the Supreme Court on Senate Election reference. The first priority of the PTI is the rule of law. The prime minister wants transparent elections. Those who come to power through money have to be stopped.'

RCCI President Nasir Mirza said the purpose of the exhibition was to promote business activities.

A musical evening and food court was also arranged to entertain people in the evening, Mr Mirza said, adding that such exhibitions will be held regularly.

Exhibition Chairman Sardar Tanveer Sarwar said the exhibition provided an opportunity to investors in the field of housing and construction to get more information about various projects under one roof. During the three-day expo, companies associated with the housing and construction sector had set up stalls.Meanwhile, ambassadors, high commissioners and commercial counsellors visited the Build 2021 Expo and Construction Trade Fair at Topi Rakh Complex in Ayub Park.
