IMF dissatisfied with performance of Pakistan's finance minister: Sheikh Rashid.

RAWALPINDI -- Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was not satisfied with the performance of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.

The former interior minister, in a tweet, said the bailout package from the global lander seemed to be in doldrums. He added that the government had also planned to increase gas tariff by 74 per cent, which would put extra burden on the inflation-stricken public. He said horse-trading was at peak in Lahore amid calls for the confidence vote for Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, adding that democracy was under attack.

All eyes were on the ruling of the Supreme Court (SC) in a case against National Accountability Bureau (NAB) laws amendments.
