Illegal housing societies asked to stop work.

PESHAWAR -- The Peshawar district administration has restricted the establishment of illegal housing societies in the district and warned to take legal action against the violators under section 188 PPC.

According to a statement issued here on Wednesday, deputy commissioner Mohammad Ali Asghar enforced the section 144, saying that the building control wing of the Peshawar Development Authority had already issued several notices, asking the concerned police to register FIRs against the illegal housing societies.

The deputy commissioner said that on the basis of sufficient information there would be complete ban on establishment of housing schemes which had been launched in the limits of Peshawar without prior approval of the relevant departments.
