IHC withdraws contempt of court notice against IHCBA secretary.
ISLAMABAD -- The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday withdrawn the contempt of court notice against the secretary Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA) Umair Baloch.
Chief Justice IHC Justice Athar Minallah listened to the case and withdrew the show cause notice issued to the bar secretary against forcing lawyers to quit court room in connection with the strike announced by the lawyer bodies' against the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) incident and police torture on legal practitioners.
The CJ remarked that this court does not believe in contempt of court punishment as well as the notice in the matter to bar secretary was also issued in great sadness.
He said that courts could only be strong by strengthening good relations...
