IGP Sindh Kaleem Imam expresses remorse over death of toddler in Karachi shootout.

KARACHI -- Inspector General of Police Sindh Dr Syed Kaleem Imam expressed remorse on Wednesday over the alleged police encounter at Karachi's Safoora Chowrangi, which claimed the life of a toddler named Ahsan.

While addressing a press conference, the IGP Sindh said that the police wants such incidents are not repeated in future and policemen will be given due training. He said that the performance of the police in the province has improved; adding that bigger weapons have been eliminated and now the cops will be trained with smaller weapons.
