ISLAMABAD -- President Dr. Arif Alvi has said Pakistan wants early and honorable repatriation of Afghan refugees.

He was addressing ration distribution among Afghan refugees in Islamabad on Wednesday in wake of COVID-19 pandemic.

The President said Pakistan kept its doors open for Afghan brethren, who have been facing war oppression since several decades. He said Pakistan wants early and durable peace in Afghanistan.

He said we provided same facilities and cooperation to Afghan refugees extended to our own citizens to protect them from coronavirus.
