Iesco imposes fines on consumers involved in power theft.

ISLAMABAD -- The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco), during the month of December, found 3,635 meters slow while 28 meters were taking direct power supply while seven meters were tampered with.

The distribution company imposed a fine of Rs41.52 million on consumers for electricity theft and slowing meters besides lodging complaints with the police stations concerned for legal action.
