The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) have not undertaken any development work in local markets for the last many years due to which the condition of markets has deteriorated badly. Ali Nawaz Awan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on CDA Affairs, Amir Ali Ahmed Chairman CDA and Sheikh Answer Aziz Mayor Islamabad should take note of this situation and issue orders for initiating development works in local markets on priority basis. This was demanded by Ahmed Hassan Moughal, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry in a statement.
