I am Afghan too: MNA Mohsin Dawar stirs outcry over controversial tweet.

ISLAMABAD -- Tendentious Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) leader and member of the National Assembly Mohsin Dawar has sparked yet another social media outcry over a controversial tweet.

Using the hashtag Main Bhi Afghan Hoon (I am Afghan too), Dawar posted a Pashto couplet on his official Twitter handle late Wednesday night which started a heated debate on the social networking website.

The couplet loosely translates into, 'Geographical disruptions [and] forces do not change [the fact that] I'm Afghan. I [was] Afghan and I'll remain one.'

The tweet met with widespread criticism as Twitter users started to wonder about the allegiances of the elected parliamentarian.
