GPGC, GC Peshawar to clash in HED Inter-College Boys Volleyball final.

PESHAWAR -- Government Post Graduate College Nowshera and Government College Peshawar setup final showdown after recording victories against their respective rivals in the semi-finals of the ongoing Higher Education Department Inter-College Boys Volleyball Championship being played here at Government College premises.

Director Sports Government College Peshawar Arshad Khan was the chief guest on this occasion and before the start of the match the players were introduced to him.

Organizing Secretary Hassan Khan, member of the various faculties and large number of spectators were also present and witnessed the matches.

In the first match Government post Graduate College Nowshera stunned Government Degree College Mathra in a thrilling five sets battle.

Nowshera took two sets by 25-23 and 26-24 but could not continue their winning strike and conceded two sets won by Govt Degree College Mathra at 23-26 and 21-25.

It was the last and fifth set in which both Nowshera and Mathra colleges struggled hard to win back points and thus Nowshera was succeeded in winning the set 15-12.
